1. Our Services

riftApply is an international university admissions platform owned by GreatRift Consultancy. We connect students with accredited universities across 30+ countries through a streamlined application process and a network of verified education agents.

• Creating student profiles
• Browsing and applying to partner universities
• Connecting with verified agents
• Tracking applications
• Receiving support throughout the admission journey

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Students under 18 may only use the Platform with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in violations of these Terms.

4. User Roles

The Platform supports:

• Students: Individuals seeking university admission.
• Agents: Verified education consultants.
• University Representatives: Authorized personnel from partner institutions.

Misrepresenting your role may lead to immediate account termination.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or fraudulent activity.
• Upload or submit false, misleading, or forged documents.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or unauthorizedly access the Platform.
• Transmit spam, viruses, or harmful code.

6. Agent Services

• Agents on riftApply are verified by GreatRift Consultancy, but we do not guarantee the quality or success of their individual services.
• All arrangements and payments between students and agents are made directly between them. riftApply / GreatRift Consultancy acts only as a platform facilitator.
• Any fees charged by agents are separate from our platform services.

7. University Applications

• We do not guarantee admission to any university.
• All admission decisions are made solely by the respective universities.
• We are not responsible for visa outcomes, scholarship results, or changes in university policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and software on riftApply are the property of GreatRift Consultancy. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Services for personal educational purposes only. You retain ownership of the documents you upload but grant us a royalty-free license to use them as needed to provide the Services.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Fees and Payments

• Basic use of the platform is currently free.
• Premium features, agent services, or third-party services may attract fees.
• Refunds (if any) are governed by the specific provider's policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or successful admission outcomes.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GreatRift Consultancy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you (if any) in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the Effective Date and posting the new version on this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
